The first time I tried to...I love Cardinal flower. The first time I tried to grow them by wintersowing, they didn't make it (I think the container I used dried out too quickly). This year, however, I managed to get several seedlings from wintersowing, the first of which has just started blooming. They seem to grow flower and peter out. I hope to grow more from seed as well and need to open up areas to them in the garden again.
